Amazing April

Hello and Happy April!  It's so nice to see the sun shining and the snow melting. The first glimpse of spring inspired me to add some flowers to the front of the store.  I repurposed an old dresser and made it into a giant planter, and I repainted the inside of my front door in very bright colors and added sunflower stamps to it.

Our final Cups for a Cause total for the SPCA is $88, which I will be rounding up to $100.  Thank you to all the wonderful people who dropped money in the donation bucket!!  Our April, May, and June collection will be for the Kamloops Food Bank.

The April Try it Before you Buy it station features Milk Paint by Fusion.  Stop in at the store to try this unique product.  Milk paint by Fusion is an ancient all-natural paint containing milk protein (casein), limestone, clay, chalk, and natural pigments.  It comes in a powdered form that you mix with water.  This is a versatile product that allows you to achieve many different finishes.

April classes include paint and take wooden trays, ceramic coasters, and a Bring Your Own Piece class.  Checkout the Class Schedule and Sign-Up tab on the website.

The store will be closed on Good Friday, April 7th, but I reopen on Saturday, April 8th at 10:00am as usual.

If you have a project to complete but don't know where to start, stop by the store, I'm always happy to share advice and step-by-step instructions.
