Marvelous March

Hello and Happy March!

I'm hoping milder temperatures are on the horizon... and no more snow!  February was another quiet month at the store, but I'm starting to see a few more faces now.  

I have been busy doing commission work for clients and am currently booked up until the end of April.  If you have something you would like me to do, drop in and see me, and I can get you on the schedule.  

Does everyone love sunflowers as much as I do?  In between rounds of sanding and staining on my current commission project, I have been making gorgeous little sunflower dishes from resin.  Using Amazing 10-minute resin and the IOD sunflower mold as well as different types of paint, I have created about a dozen of these so far.  They are the perfect size to hold your jewelry when you take it off at night or your keys by the front door.  These are simple to make with resin or clay; stop by the store and I can set you up with everything you need to make your own, or you can choose from my ready made collection at $20 each.  

Our Cups for a Cause collection is up to $50 for the SPCA.  This is the last month for them and then we move on to collecting for the Kamloops Food Bank for April, May, and June.  Come in and have a cup of tea or coffee or a cold drink and drop a donation in the bucket. 100% of the donations are forwarded to the charity.

March is Tempaper month at the Try it Before you Buy it Station. Come in and make a coaster using peel and stick wallpaper and check out the full selection of wallpaper I carry in the store. 

March classes include the very popular Bring Your Own Piece: March 25th from 1:30 to 4:00.  There are only two spots left, so if you're interested, click on the Class Schedule and Sign Up tab.  If that date doesn't work for you, give me a call, and I can set up a private class for you.  One on one is $100, but a group of two to six is only $85.   

The store will be closed on Saturday, March 18th as I will be participating in The Local Market at TRU that day from noon to 9:00pm.  It's going to be a great event - check it out on Facebook if you haven't heard about it yet.
